Hi, I'm Simon.

I live and work in Stuttgart as an Industrial Designer and Art Director in Retail Design, leading a design team to empower international brands to inspire their customers and translate their stories into the physical world.

Educated at HfG Schwäbisch Gmünd and Kingston University London in industrial and furniture design, I have worked with several design studios while maintaining an independent design practice in my own studio to explore artistic boundaries and experimental forms. These passion projects allow me to cultivate a distinct creative voice, focusing on the pure essence of design and the intricate process of making.

I believe that design, regardless of scale, requires a foundation of logic and purpose. My work is about creating a meaningful connection between people and objects, whether through a signature piece of furniture or an entire retail space. I view both as a collection of engineered touchpoints, materials, and haptic experiences. This approach is deeply rooted in my industrial design background, using simplicity and clarity as primary tools to achieve both aesthetic uniqueness and functional longevity.

I design with my head in the clouds and my feet on the ground. To bridge the gap between a bold vision and a buildable reality, I rely on expert knowledge, physical mock-ups, and models. This hands-on process is essential for evaluating the multisensory impact of a design, ensuring the final implementation feels as authentic as the initial sketch.
