Hi, I´m Simon.

 

I live and work in Stuttgart, Germany as a product designer and an art director in retail design, helping international brands to inspire their customers and translate their story into the physical world. 

​

BACKGROUND 

I knew early on that I wanted to be a designer, so after a few internships I studied product design at the HfG Schwäbisch Gmünd, with a particular fascination for furniture design.

PHILOSOPHY

Design needs purpose and logic. I see my work as the art of creating a connection between people and objects, telling stories and arousing emotions.

Simplicity, clarity and function serve me as the basis for uniqueness and aesthetics.

WAY OF WORK

I create stories, journeys and concepts and give them physical shape down to the last detail.

I design with my head in the clouds and my feet on the ground. Vision and reality must be compatible, so I seek early feedback from those who will implement it and rely heavily on mock-ups and models. Model making also helps me evaluate my design in terms of multisensory experience.
